Residential Services
Supportive Housing with Dignity and Care
Stable, safe housing is a foundation for recovery. Our Residential Services provide structured, compassionate care for adults living with serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders. Through personalized support and a welcoming environment, we help individuals rebuild routines, practice life skills, and move toward greater independence in a way that feels right for them.
Our Residential Programs
Archways offers a range of residential care options designed to meet each person’s needs based on their current level of independence and recovery progress.
Avon Manor (Level II Residential Treatment Facility)
Avon Manor is a structured group home for individuals who need 24/7 support. It accommodates 16 residents in a safe, home-like setting where they can stabilize, manage symptoms, and begin practicing daily routines with help from staff. The focus is on building self-awareness, strengthening self-care skills, and preparing for more independent living.
Bennett and Sunshine Apartments (Level III Residential Treatment Facilities)
These supervised apartment communities serve a total of 42 residents. They are ideal for individuals who are gaining independence but still need regular support. Staff are on-site to help with medication reminders, meal planning, budgeting, and daily living tasks. Residents have private space while benefiting from a shared community environment.
ATAP (Archways Transitional Adult Program -- Level IV)
ATAP is our most independent residential setting. It offers housing for six residents who are preparing to live more independently. With limited staff supervision, residents manage their daily lives while still having access to support when needed. This setting encourages responsibility, personal growth, and greater community engagement.
Who We Serve
These programs are designed for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. We also support those with co-occurring substance use disorders. Each resident works with a care team to determine the right level of support and to set goals for building independence and wellness.
