Employment Services
Empowering Individuals to Work with Purpose
At Archways, we believe that meaningful employment is a vital part of recovery and self-worth. That’s why our Employment Services program uses the evidence-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to help individuals living with mental health conditions find and maintain jobs that fit their goals, interests, and strengths.
We don’t offer temporary or simulated work. Instead, we support clients in accessing competitive, real-world employment with guidance and encouragement every step of the way.
What We Offer
Our Employment Specialists work one-on-one with each participant to:
- Identify career interests and employment goals
- Develop or refresh résumés and practice interview skills
- Connect with potential employers through job leads and community partnerships
- Offer on-the-job coaching and follow-up support
- Coordinate with mental health providers to ensure whole-person care
Why IPS Works
IPS is a nationally recognized model that helps people with behavioral health challenges achieve success in the workforce. It’s based on the belief that everyone is capable of work with the right support, and that employment plays a key role in recovery and empowerment.
Key features include:
- Zero-exclusion: Services are open to anyone who expresses interest in working
- Competitive employment focus: No sheltered workshops or unpaid placements
- Rapid job search: We start looking for jobs quickly, not after lengthy assessments
- Ongoing support: We stay involved as long as needed
Who Can Participate?
